Reflecting Korea’s transition into a multicultural society, this project proposes a cyclical spatial system that encourages everyday interactions between immigrants and local residents. Through intersecting programs and open circulation, the design fosters a built environment where cultural coexistence and social inclusion can naturally emerge.

Biorhythmic Cycle Flow

With declining population and a rapid rise in international marriages and immigration, Korea is becoming a multicultural society. However, this sudden shift has led to instances of discrimination and social tension, while public awareness remains limited. Moving forward, it is essential to explore ways for different cultures to coexist more naturally.

Programs, distinguished based on the activities of immigrants, are interwoven over time to create a cyclical trajectory. This involves the interaction between spatial trajectories and activated masses, forming a new cycle synchronized with the weekly rhythm of adaptation for immigrants.
